Worked example
Sent on Friday 30 October 2026:
Holidays skipped: Monday 2 November 2026 (All Saints' Day); Monday 16 November 2026 (Independence of Cartagena); Tuesday 8 December 2026 (Immaculate Conception). Each answer term can be extended once by the same period.
Report each defect in writing within its term, to whoever built or sold the home.
The builder or seller gives a receipt and makes a verification visit to the home within the next 5 business days.
It answers in writing within 10 business days after the visit for finishes and vital lines, and within 30 business days for the stability of the work. Each term can be extended once by the same period.
